Kayode was called to the Nigerian Bar in 1992. He has since been involved in many groundbreaking litigations that have taken him through all the courts of competent jurisdictions, as well as general commercial practice.
He has been in active corporate practice and his vast area of expertise includes, though not limited to, company and commercial Law, Energy Law, Land Law, Aviation, and Insolvency Law.
Before Kayode Filani & Co. emerged, Kayode was a partner in the firm of FAO Chambers.
He is an active member of the International Bar Association and the Nigerian Bar Association.
He currently sits on the board of various companies, including Skyway Aviation Handling Company (SAHCOL), KFA Investment & Property Limited, UK, Julian’s Investment and Estates Development Company, and a host of other companies.
